ASU Tailgate Party

We are kicking off  College Football Season
with some Tailgate party ideas!
We used the ASU Decor but you can easily
switch the decor to your team colors!
Party City sent me a variety of Football Decor and Tableware to create the ultimate Tailgate party!
Some fun addition to the table are the Referee Shirt Drink Cozies, the Football Serving Tray and the Megaphone.
Fun way to serve veggies and fruits are inside these mini bowls and glasses.
Hang some Football Paper Lanterns, add  Balloons of your team colors and Football Pennant Banner to create a festive look to your party.
Have some props like Wigs, Noise Makers, Sunglasses, Necklaces and Hats for you guests to go FANRAGEOUS!
We did a Tailgate party back in November
before the ASU game and it was so much fun!!
GO ASU!!

Girl Scout Bridging 2014

Our Bridging Ceremony was a little late this year but we finally had it last week! We had a GS weekend at the end of May(pictures to come)  but we didn't have time to plan the Bridging due to Summer break. So, without  further due here are the details of our Ceremony!

My oldest daughter made this beautiful cake for the girls!

The girls helped set up for the Ceremony by decorating the outdoors, getting the snacks ready and making lemonade for our guests.

Our ceremony was divided in 3 parts.
We started with the Flag Ceremony.
The second part of the ceremony was a presentation of the GS levels represented by a Daisy Flower. Daisy was the nickname of Juliette Low, the founder of Girl Scouts.
The seed represents the Daisy level, roots the Brownies, Stem the Juniors, leaves the Cadettes and the center and petals of the flower represents the Seniors and Ambassador Girl Scouts. You can find more detailed information about this presentation HERE.
Our 3rd part of the ceremony was the cross of the bridge. Each girl  crossed the bridge one by one and received their Bridging Certificate. I made the "bridge" using yard picked fence found at Home Depot. ;)
This is their last picture as Juniors!!
Cadette Girl Scouting here they come!!
I made scrapbook albums for each one of them with photos of our last year adventures.

This ceremony was a little bit sad for me since
this is the last year I will be their leader.
My family and I will be moving to Brazil in November.
I will definitely miss this great group of sweet young ladies!

Ninja Turtle Party

I styled this Ninja Turtle Party for
my son's best friend a couple of weeks back.
My son is not too crazy about Ninja Turtles so I don't know much about them but Party City has a great selection of TMNT Party Supplies that was a breezy to put this party together!
My son's friend's favorite TMNJ character is Raphael. My daughter made the cake, added a red fondant mask and Raphael action figure to the top of the cake.
We made green jello(slime), Oreos(sewer lids), pizza(mini cookies), popcorn and nunchucks (swiss roll and licorice).
As for favors, children took home TMNJ Favor Cup  and TMNJ Lunch Box filled with fun Ninja Turtle toys.
I made felt masks and shells for the kids. It came out awesome!

The children's table was set by using black tablecloth, TMNJ tableware and confetti. I used TMNT toy characters, Nunchucks, Sais and Katana as centerpieces.

I used colored crepe paper and eyes made of paper to turn Green Lanterns into adorable party decorations!

1st Birthday Miss Sock Monkey Party

This past June a very sweet baby girl turned 1! I was thrilled to be a part of her special day by styling this super cute Miss Sock Monkey Party!
The dessert table was filled with sweet treats and party favors!
The backdrop was created by using 2 foam boards from Hobby Lobby wrapped in purple wrapping paper and Hot Pink Polka Dots Paper Fans. As props, I used the Miss Sock Monkey Centerpiece with Miss Sock Monkey Self-Inflating Balloons. I also used polka dot wrapping paper as tablecloth.
The cupcakes were decorated using Miss Sock Monkey Cupcakes Picks, they were also used to embellish the pink and purple candy containers and popcorn boxes
The children's table was set up by using

Even the water bottles got dressed up for the special occasion using the Personalized Miss Monkey Water Labels, lilac ribbon and polkadot purple straws
Sweet Baby Girl!!!

Seafood Feast

We are enjoying every time we have before
the school/sports craziness begins!
This past weekend we had a Seafood Feast!

I love seafood and the nautical decor so
this get together was a lot of fun to style!
I got most of the Nautical Decorations from Oriental Trading.
To set the nautical feeling, I hung Fish NetsSea Life Decorations and Nautical Lanterns.
The table was decorated using Red Lanterns, Starfish Table DecorSea Life Decorations, starfish and seashells.
I used the Turquoise Table Runner for the table and set each seat using the Lobster Place card. The cute Lobster lollipop is also from Oriental Trading! I also set up a Tableware Station with napkins, plates, utensils and straws by using the Rope Handle Baskets.
As for appetizers, we had Caprese on a stick decorated with Nautical Flags, Stuffed Scallops, Clams and Shrimp Kabobs.
The main dish were the crabs! We enjoyed Alaskan King Crab and Snow Crab with corn and rice.
I bought a Velvet Cake from Walmart and decorated with the Nautical Cake Bunting and the cute Lobster beads!
Fun afternoon with friends!
